Rachel Weber, a project coordinator/interior designer at H.J. Martin since April 2008, recently was accredited as a LEED Green Associate.
The LEED Green Associate credential reflects an established level of knowledge in green building principles and practices, concentrated in the areas of design, construction and operations. Continuing education around sustainable practices is required to maintain standing as a LEED Green Associate.
“Sustainability is a practice we take seriously,” says Edward Martin, CEO of H.J. Martin. “We applaud Rachel for all of her hard work to earn LEED accreditation. “We support continuing education for all of our employees and look forward to Rachel’s LEED credentials benefitting our customers.”
H.J. Martin has done work on numerous LEED certified projects, including Union South at UW-Madison, the Outagamie County Airport and the J.F. Ahern Co. Milwaukee Office.
Weber received her bachelor’s degree in interior design & retailing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2007. Her responsibilities for H.J. Martin include materials procurement, client assistance with flooring selections and project support.
