H.J. Martin and Son completed two Kentucky Fried Chicken remodels in Illinois as a general contractor, our team oversaw the installation of new flooring, ceilings, counter and table installation and new paint.

During construction, the dining room was closed down, but the kitchen and drive through remained open. H.J. Martin and Son has worked in many open store environments and successfully kept the construction and kitchen separated for the protection of the restaurant staff and food production. Noise and dust control measures were put into place as well.

The drive through renovations took the most coordination, as work could only be done during non-peak times so as not to disrupt customer service.

Both restaurant projects were managed at the same time, allowing both teams to communicate best practices and efficiencies.
