H.J. Martin Maintains a Spot in the Top 100 Flooring Retailers in America
Posted on January 30, 2012 by H.J. Martin and Son
H.J. Martin & Son once again made the “Focus 100” list, claiming spot #53 for 2011 across the nation. The list, published by Floor Focus magazine, provides a measuring stick for flooring retailers in the United States.
The ranking is impressive. H.J. Martin took its place among large retail chains, do-it-yourself flooring giants, and independent retailers that service large urban areas. Independent flooring retailers alone number about 11,000 nationwide, [1] with H.J. Martin in the top 40.
This year’s “Focus 100” article focuses on the changes in the flooring market the last few years. Despite the volatile economy and the housing market decline—now in its sixth year [2]—H.J. Martin has been able to thrive by offering both residential and commercial services, quality product lines, and a long legacy of a solid reputation.
