H.J. Martin helps to renovate Mount Tabor Center facility in Menasha

H.J. Martin and Son engages with non-profit organizations of all shapes and sizes across Northeast Wisconsin. One such group it recently assisted was the Mount Tabor Center in Menasha, Wis.
Having been in its current facility for roughly 30 years, updates were needed in portions of the building, particularly the office area. H.J. Martin staff helped to renovate the offices to make them more appealing to visitors and to provide a better working environment for Mount Tabor staff and volunteers.
The renovation included new carpet, carpentry work by H.J. Martin employees and sundry items.
“We want to thank H.J. Martin of all of its assistance in updating our facility,” says Eden Foord, director of Mount Tabor Center. “Our staff and the young adults who assist us have been energized by the positive changes to their work environment. We rely on help from the community and are appreciative of the support we receive from individuals like Edward and Terri Martin and their company.”
Mount Tabor Center provides over 150 faith-based retreats and spiritual programs to roughly 5,000 Catholic youth each year through its affiliation with the Diocese of Green Bay. Up to 30 youth ministers, who make a ninth-month commitment to carry out the organization’s mission, are housed at the facility.
“We understand that our small contributions can mean the world to small non-profits like Mount Tabor Center,” says H.J. Martin CEO Edward Martin. “It was really gratifying to see the before and after photos.”
H.J. Martin contributed to nearly 100 charitable efforts across the state in 2012, with a primary focus on Green Bay and the Fox Cities.
